If Yao Ming has a career ending injury while he is under contract (lets assume for the sake of argument), do we get an injury exception to sign another player that summer or next season? Basically is his salary counted against the cap if he's physically unable to play and he has to retire? I'm just curious, I really hope it doesn't come to that.
