1. How Yao dominates DH and the rest of centers. How we beat fakers after everybody calls us an underdog. 2. Rockets hustle plays.
1. Healthy Yao 2. Watching Brad Miller do a pump fake, drive to the basket as slow as molasses, and somehow score without anyone around him.
1) Im look forward to see the Rockets crushing Miami!! 2) A great run with a lot of 3 pt shots.
1. Seeing Yao play with what is, for him, almost a new team. Scola is entrenched as the starting 4, playing starter's minutes, and Landry's gone. Brooks is now a 20 point scorer and playing at a near All Star level. Kevin Martin is not Tracy Mcgrady or Von Wafer, and better in this system than either. Trevor Ariza is the new starter at the 3, instead of an opponent. A far superior bench is playing with him in Miller, Battier, Lowry, Budinger, Hill, Patterson, Jeffries, Andersen, and Taylor. Assuming they stay healthy, always a big if, this is best team Yao's had. It's going to be a trip to watch! 2. To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of the women.
1. What are you most excited or looking forward to seeing about for the Rox upcoming season? Yao's return, obviously. I hope he's up to 28-30 minutes a night by the 60th game. I think we're good enough to win the conference or a least make SPLASH in the playoffs, but homecourt is a must. Also looking forward to watching Martin with Yao. I think Martin beneifts a ton once they learn to play together. I wonder how many people will be worried after a so-so first 20 games. I expect a slow start, but predict 55 wins.erence. 2. During a game, what gets you the most excited? I like watching our bench unit play. They probably won 25 games for us last season. Hoping Jordan Hill shows good improvement. He'll may never produce numbers like Landry, but he can be an exciting difference maker.
(1) looking forward to seeing Yao dominate again and how he works with two other 7-footers and some great outside shooters on the team. (2) My favorite thing to see in a game is a perfectly-executed play. A situation where you can see that we have formulated a specific play, obviously practiced it thoroughly, and executed it flawlessly during the game, resulting in a score. I especially like it when we do this repeatedly.
I was out of the country for all of last season so... 1) Seeing a game in person. 2) Overpriced Toyota Center beer
1) Yao being back 2) Seeing how Martin, Brooks and Ariza work with Yao 3) Seeing Hayes hit 35% of his wide open layups but calming me down with his great defensive play 4) Hearing Bill W. complain about the refs for the 10th Gazillion time but at least he drowns out Drexler when he does 5) Hearing Drexler repeat the exact quote Bill Worrell just said and acting like its important new info 6) Watching Miller become the new enforcer on the team 7) Watching Scola fake left 20 times and then going right and the defender falling for it every single time.
1) I want to see us dominate Heat/Lakers games by 20 points 2) I want to see our Team smiling as we dominate the Heat/Lakers by 20 points.
