predict your eastern confrence power rankings

1.miami- i dont need to explain
2.magic- need to improve a little but IMO will be fine
    3.hawks- great athletetic team
4.bucks- this team has an awesome roster with additions of maggete and gooden
5.bulls-they have a good team with additions of boozer and korver
    6. celtics- might be old but they got something left in the tank
7.bobcats- wallace and jackson will lead them again
    8. now with the cavs out i dont really know who could be the eight. its between nets and knicks who ever makes the better moves by the end of the offseason. right now i think its the knicks.

the scary thing about the east would be after the top 3 spots (perhaps Miami, Orlando and for some reason Boston) there's a significant drop of quality teams, heck it's a free for all that even the Knicks (God No!) might made it as the 8th seed..

whereas, the West, though no as formidable as before, is still tough, the East may be top heavy but the quality/contender teams are on the west

So when the teams are even in the East, it's a free-for-all and a sign of the inferiority. When the same is true in the West, it's a sign of how tough the conference is?

The West doesn't have contender teams. The West has a contending team. The Lakers have only been challenged in the Western conference playoffs once in the last three years. The other three contending teams play in the East.

Last year the bulls were having injury issues thus making them the 8th seed. In real case, the Bulls are top FOUR team in the East especially now with Boozer, they may suprise alot people next season.

    1) Miami Heat
    2) Orlando Magic
    3) Boston Celtics
    4) Milwaukee Bucks
    5) Atlanta Hawks
    6) Chicago Bulls
    7) Charlotte Bobcats
    8) Indiana Pacers

#8 is tough, but I will go out on a limb and say Indiana

    Agree.
Bulls are going to be dangerous.

    Rose
    Korver/Reddick
    Deng
    Boozer
    Noah

Thats a very formidable team, and they haven't even finished signing players yet

Really? That team actually doesn't look very scary to me. Would have been better if they kept Hinrich. Their SG position is extremely weak.

I agree. The Bulls will be better, but they still do not have a lot of depth or talent outside of Rose, Boozer, and Noah

I suppose that depends on whether you think Redick is a good player or not.
They still have money to sign a 2nd/3rd string Centre and a backup point guard

    your kidding.

    look at the magic's roster

    pg nelson rose
    sg carter deng
    sf lewis gibson
    pf bass boozer
    C howard noah

how is the bulls starting better than the magics?

really? learn some basketball, boozer isnt top 5 pf, he thrived because of deron williams, the pick and roll, rose doesnt have that great of a shot yet. so until then no way they will make AT LEAST two.

I may be the only one here who is dumb enough to do this but im not having Miami #1. I still think that this year the Celtics or Magic can be in that top spot and come playoff time, Celtics are my choice to win. They have a strong core and solid bench
