IMO the best all star game among the big sports as players can perform their very best, without worry of getting hurt and without the need for extensive practice or learning new game plans with new teammates. Anyway its more than 30 minutes past the start of the ceremonies... Start the frakkin game already!
crap that was this weekend? shows you how much i follow baseball and it in anaheim this year...too late to try to go now
lol weekend? Its Tuesday. Its on now... well assuming they ever finish with the honors, ceremony and singing...
oh no... its joe buck and tim mccarver... this is almost as bad as joe buck with Aikman for the NFL. I guess I'm just spoiled watching the giants and listening to kruk and kiep with HOFamer John Miller.
Joe Buck is almost as bad as Jim Lampley. Can't stand either of them. Both have an annoying smugness and pole-up-their-ass demeanor.
fortunately i only have to listen to Lamps when i watch boxing, and then he atleast is surrounded by either merchant and steward or kellerman and steward. One thing Lamps got over buck is, unintentional comedy, once in awhile he makes us laugh while embarassing himself ie... the bang bang bang seizure during pac v clottey.
This is the most interested I've been in an All Star game in a long time since my favorite MLB player started for AL (David Price). Definitely my favorite All Star game of pro sports.
Going from Price, ubaldo, Johnson, Verlander all of whom had 97+ fastball and then to the great Lee to Kuo is sorta deflating.
