Even worse if he's playing PF.

Mehmet plays center, Yao cant guard him either..

That's my biggest wish for this off season but looks like we'll miss out on him.

I dont think he'd make up for Boozer, Korver, and possibly Wes Matthews leaving. But Jefferson on the Jazz would sure give the ROCKETS all they could handle

If the Jazz get Jefferson and somehow resign Ronnie Brewer, just more headache to deal with in the West.

If the Timberwolves were smart they would ship him to the East. The Timberwolves actually have a decent shot to be a surprise seed for the 8th spot. They would be dumb to trade him and make a West team stronger.

Shouldn't we see what the Jazz, well, give up first before we start panicking?

    Bet it falls through.

Usually deals that are rumored before they happen to ESPN never happen...like the Turkoglu trade just happened out of nowhere basically.

at least I am hoping, I was ready for the fact of Utah sucking for this year by losing Boozer and Korver.

yep, Yao will be a liability when we play the Jazz.

I hope this isn't true, but the fit is excellent for Utah.

Al is a good player, but I doubt if he can make a big difference for the Jazz. Deron will help him score, and he can rebound, but their defensive problems will persist. Milsap and Okur won't be able to overcome it by themselves.
Yao will have more problems, but I don't think he can hurt the Lakers much.

This should keep Utah in the playoff mix, but in no way helps them get to a championship.
