http://www.newsday.com/sports/baske...paul-thinking-big-three-on-broadway-1.2096409 What do y'all think? I feel this scenario would be more likely if we see Miami dominate next year, players will feel that they can't compete. So in essence, Knicks fans should be rooting for dominating by the Heat.
It would be good for the rivalry of Miami/New York for the NBA. As a Rockets fan no I don't want this to happen right now.
I'm torn. On one hand, I would love to see the Heat have some competition, but it also means the league will be full of bottom dwellers.
Well, we've heard rumblings that Chris Paul is unhappy there. If he really said this - yeah. Could get interesting. They may look to move him. I sure would love to get in on that. If we had a full season of him here, I'm pretty sure we could talk him into staying.
I'm not really sold on Melo. He's gonna make the max like LBJ and Durant, however he's actually a lot worse than those two. Unless you plan to pay the luxury tax every year, signing lesser guys to the max will put you at disadvantage every time. If you only had limited capspace no sense paying all that dough on Melo, who will almost always get pwned by LBJ and Durant. This ensures you will always be an also-ran every year in the playoffs. I'd rather go after CP3. Unlike Melo he can make his teammates a lot better, so that makes him more valuable and more deserving of a max contract.
NY can keep dreaming while we enjoying collecting their lottory picks  Melo will NOT take a pay cut like LeBron/Wade also, egos of Melo/Stoudmire/CP3 gonna be ugly... compare to the Heats'
A couple of months ago everyone was saying LeBron and Wade wouldn't take a paycut to play at the same place.
The league is already full of crappy teams. There are way more bad teams than good teams in today's NBA. Just look at the Eastern Conference as example a.
actually it was the old trend. Remember Clyde-Barkley-Olajuwon? or Parish-McHale-Bird? Magic-Kareem-Worthy? Or even Pierce-Garnett-Allen?
