It wasn't for the reason Knicks fans had hoped. Days after passing on a chance to play in New York and opting for the Miami Heat, James showed up in the Big Apple on Saturday to attend the wedding of Denver Nuggets superstar Carmelo Anthony and former MTV host Lala Vazquez. The New York Daily News reported a stone-faced James walked into Cipriani with New Orleans Hornets star Chris Paul. Questions were asked by reporters and photos taken, but no one could get the gray-suited James to respond. On this night, King James was just one of the royalty in attendance as Anthony married at a star-studded event before over 300 friends and relatives. Other seen to be seen were Kim Kardashian, in a snug beige dress, according to the newspaper.
