somebody dunk on Yao...for the box score: http://www.fiba.com/oneplanet/world/index.asp?CC=WMM&YearBegin=2002 everytime, Dirk is on the floor, the Germany is unstopable. Yao also got blocked twice, one by Dirk.
what ever happened to the Bradley - Yao matchup? did Bradley even play? sorry, I haven't been keeping up...
Replay of the China & Germany game starts in about 15 minutes on NBA.com TV for anyone who wants to watch.
Ming has obviously a lot to learn including how to stay out of foul trouble as well.He will have his ups and downs throughout the season. His overall intelligence gives me hope that he will get better relatively quickly.
Yes, don't forget that the China coach doesn't look for Yao. He tells his players to play team ball, which is fine. But the problem is, Yao's team mates suck!
Watching the game now...Man, Yao has a big problem....fouls! Two already. Rudy and CD will have to teach this boy how NOT to foul out.
I was just about to say that I watched the game last night. Dirk looked awesome. Defense wasn't bad, and scored 30 even though he was triple teamed everytime he got the ball. Yao got in foul trouble so that effected his game but overall looked pretty athletic, and showed some real nice moves under the basket. He did get dunked on though by some German player with crazy lookin hair. The German beat his guy off the dribble, and Yao came over the help, and ended up getting dunked on. The German player held on to the rim, and slapped the backboard and got a technical foul called on him. Pretty good game but China looked outmatched. Tonight is USA vs Germany at 7:00pm on ESPN2. US will probably win big. If you get a chance check out Finley's cornroles.
