NY does make sense when you think about it. For as unselfish as Lebron is on the court, the guy is an incredible egomaniac off it. He doesn't wanna be Jordan, he wants to be bigger than Jordan. He sure as hell isn't achieving that in Cleveland.
Damn, don't go to the Knicks. This off-season isn't looking good for Houston. Bosh-No Lebron to NY-Maybe? Probably? Houston signs Brad Miller.....great.
If this is true we need to trade those knicks picks ASAP!! 2011 NY pick(swap picks) 2012 NY pick Battier for Randolph Ellis Get it done Morey! --RB
looks more and more like we should have traded for cousins during the draft. lebron/amare and probably carmelo anthony in a year looks to be the plan.
I cant see him having a national TV press conference to stick it up Clevelands a$$.....im thinkin he stays
Remember how the media was ripping on James all season long, especially near the finals with the "free agency summit" and all the talk of his selfishness etc? Well if he signs with NY he will become an instant media darling, who can do no wrong. I really dislike that about NY/LA.
Its possible that someone in his circle leaked this story to put more excitement into the announcement tomorrow. If after everyone thinks he's going to NY he says "I'm staying in CLE", he'll be an instant hero. I hope that's what is going on.
Now I'm hearing rumors around the net that LeBron could possibly be staying in Cleveland in expectation of a trade for Chris Paul.
I hope the same, but I've been fearing this legitimately since last night. I think seeing all the "ego" things that LeBron is doing -- his new Twitter account, his "decision" show... it is starting to say New York to me, though I hope I'm wrong. The chance to resurrect a once-great franchise. A HUGE market. This seems like what his ego is pointing towards. Best case scenario for us Rockets fans is a return to Cleveland.
maybe that happens in LA, but not NY. he will be hailed as a savior, but anything less than a ring will be considered trash. look at how we (since im a new yorker) treated ewing... one let down and they are ripped apart. 2 let downs and we turn on them. yes, knick fans here are so starved for even decent basketball that there will be a grace period, but the expectations will be championship. anything less will mean lebron turns into a huge target for scrutiny.
http://twitter.com/ogochocinco Chad talked to LeBron apparently and says he's is going to NYK. Too many people saying it not to take it seriously.

This would be tragedy on top of tragedy. I've had LeBron staying in Cleveland since day one and that is still how I see it. No matter what happens, Morey pulled off a heist in getting Martin, Hill, picks for McGrady and Landry.
I trust TMZ more than i do most of these espn reporters.. I know for sure lebron will be a Knick tomorrow.. and hey its ok, yes we have the Knicks picks, and that is why Morey will get rid of it before the season begins
