What team brought you to the NBA ?

For me 1998-1999 Sacramento Kings with Jason"White Chocolate" Williams , CWebb , Divac , Corliss Williamson , Tariq Abdul-Wahad . One of most exciting teams ever to be assembled on the floor.

I dont know what "team" brought me to the NBA but I started watching the NBA during the 1992 all-star game in Orlando. The bright lights and the whole event is what got me tuned into the NBA. I was 6 at the time so hey lol.

Way back in the 70s when the Pacers moved from the ABA to the NBA. Before then, the only thing I followed in the NBA was the late rounds of the playoffs. The first NBA championship I remember well was when the Warriors stunned everybody by sweeping the Bullets in 1975.

No particular team "brought" me to the NBA. I've always just liked playing basketball, so I naturally watched it as well. I was raised to like my family's hometown team, but I can say the first team I took an interest in other than the hometown team was the early 90s Magic. I was living in Florida at the time and got a case of "Shaq fever" during his rookie season. I was captivated by his play and found myself watching Magic games just to see what he would do.

Speaking of the 98-99 season, that has to be one of my favorite seasons ever just by virtue of the fact that Vince Carter and Jason Williams made it necessary to watch Sportscenter every single night of the season.

    1992.

I had a job where I had to ride around with my boss a lot. He was a die-hard Rox fan and listened to every game on AM. It was convert or die.

I was following casually in high school until the 1993 Rockets (my senior year), and specifically their series against the Sonics, when I really got into it.
