i don't dislike them. i'm tired of them winning, maybe. most people will find reasons not to like them such as their arrogance, their bandwagon-frontrunner fans, or their favorable media coverage. truth is it's probably just petty jealousy. they are an awesome franchise with awesome success. i'll admit that any negative feelings towards them comes from my desire to see the rockets win their 16th championship, to see dream get 5 rings, and rudy coach multiple three-peats.
This. I don't like them overall for many reasons but my top one is Fish doesn't deserve to win anything after that dirty move. I'm actually alright with Ron winning a ring though, he was part of what we did last year in the playoffs (although I would dare say I wish we had the Lakers Ron game 7 instead of what Ron gave us in game 7.) Tinman, you need to add "I don't like Derek Fisher" as an option.
I can't and won't respect a team and/or player that gets favorable treatment from the league/officials. Players and teams should have to EARN their rings/success. It should not be handed to them because it is in the NBA's best financial interest that certain teams and players do well. The only teams I respect from the last decade are the Spurs and Pistons.
My dislike for the Lakers is more so a hate for their obnoxious fans. No other group of fans has spammed by phone and facebook wall more with messages of their victory.

Sans Artest, I just don't like any of their players. I respect Kobe's commitment to the game, but his on-court antics (wildly throwing his arms like no other when a "foul" occurs) are very annoying. But more so than any one else on the team, I tend to dislike Derek Fisher. I think the positive light that ESPN & other sports media outlets try to portray him in is bull****, and in my opinion, he's one of the biggest fugazis in sports.
I hate their fans, almost everyone on their team, the organization, and their attitude. Not to take away from their talent, which I think they have loads of.
Sick of them winning in general especially when they are allowed to pull trades like Gasol-[insert name of scrub I don't even remember anymore here] and get proven preferential treatment by refs (travesty during lakers-king series would hold up in supreme court).
Why I hate?? The Paul Gasoft deal was an inside deal. The NBA cant have the Lakers ending up with 3 mediocre seasons in a row. Along with J. West, Stern leaned on the Memphis GM to move Gasoft to LA, way early before the deadline. What moron GM doesn't realize that you always get better value near the deadline? It would be a lamebrain move if it wasn't for the fact it was an inside deal. Period.
