Anyone else see Tulsa play much? Tall guy, huge wing span, puts up the same kind of good numbers in college as every other big man prospect. Probably not a lotto pick, but this draft seems full of long guys who may be worth an NBA roster slot.

Jerome Jordan’s agent is Bill Duffy who also represents Yao, Hayes, Budinger and Hill. It seems Duffy’s BDA Sports has a pretty good relationship with the Rockets management. I would not be surprised if Rockets draft either Jordan or Javaris Varnado (both Duffy’s clients) in the 2nd round.
But IMO Samardo Samuels from Louisville is the better Jamaican prospect in this year’s draft.

His heart worries me. He's a gifted big, but the ticker is suspect.

Regarding longshots, I'm more of a fan of Jeff Foote from Cornell. He has the size (true 7 feet without shoes and 265 lbs) and the numbers teams like to see in a college center. I wouldn't be surprised to see Morey get him on our summer league team. I foresee his draft stock rising.

I think he still is Jamaican. :)

Althought I am not sure if we count his son, Patrick Ewing, Jr. as Jamaican or American. It was a big controversy in Jamaica back when he was born.

Back to topic, the Rockets must draft this guy, he's the 7-foot Jamican Jordan. Given how good the 6'6'' American Jordan was, the 7-fooot Jamaican Jordan can only be better since being a 7-footer makes him tall, being Jamaican make him atheletic, and being Jordan makes him good at basketball.

This guy reminds me of Chris bosh, him being almost 7 foot has a jumper like to finish around the post athletic so the Jamaican has potential. Plus he obviously knows how to take care of himself just look at what he majored in excersice and sports science.
