Chris,

I saw you play at your best in the last Olympics. You were free to rebound, defend, play with energy, and attack players on offense. I was excited to see you play. But unless you're playing with an elite center, you won't have these opportunities. No other team can offer you the combination of front line help, perimeter shooting, solid coaching, and commitment to teamwork that you'll find in Houston.

Think about it. Man to man coverage in the post. When was the last time you played a game, and only saw single coverage? You will never see that in New York, Chicago, or Miami. It's all you will ever see in Houston.

Do you want to be on the All Star team? We've got that covered too. We are a global brand with a deep fan base not only in Asia but also in Central America.

Come and be a part of a winner.

 

It's simple, really, do you want to be a sidekick? Or do you want to be part of something special?

Playing in Houston not only gives you the best chance out of all your options to win a ring (the roster that's in place is literally tailor-made for you), you immediately become one of the main weapons of a potent war machine. Offensively, I don't think any team in the league can deal with aaron brooks' incisive speed, kevin martin's efficient scoring, yao's unique presence in the post, AND your high post game ALL AT THE SAME TIME. And in this roster, YOU are the man.

Houston needs you and you need Houston. You are destined to win a championship with this team.





P.S. @Clutch, I think someone should make a clever parody video a la the one chris bosh made a couple years back to get people to vote him into the all-star game.

Some of these things are getting kind of corny.

 

The Rockets are one of the few teams that have both

1 - A good cast in place
2 - Not too good of a cast in place.

If C. Bosh comes here and puts us into the top four in the west - which he would - it's on him; but he does not have to carry the entire load. The Rockets are neither too bad nor too good for a young superstar to join. They are perfect - great Center, great PG, good wings. But they need something.

They need a superstar.

Mr. Bosh - bring it on.

Also there are lots of strip clubs and churches depending on your mood.

Chine$e Market will LOVE you no matter what. Lebron will only hit and run if things turn ugly.

 

No income tax, beautiful arena, great place to live with great team mates and a fan base that will support you all the way to a championship and more.

We need you Chris! The fourth largest city in the U.S. (maybe third after 2010 census) would more than welcome you with open arms.

 

Bosh its time to step out of the shadow and take what is rightfully yours.

2011 Championships.

 

Chris, there is no reason for you not to come to Houston. Consider every factor, and you will see that Houston tops them all. For example:

1) Winning. Of all the teams that are possibilities for you, Houston has the clearest shot at winning a title in the next few years. If you come, we will have a frontline that includes you, Yao, and Luis Scola. That would make the Lakers big men look like high schoolers. Combine this with a young and talented backcourt, incredible heart (believe me, I've watched this group), and a great coach, and you get wins. Nuff said.

2) Money. Texas has the most favorable income tax laws out of everywhere you're considering, which will save you millions of dollars over the course of your career. On top of that, you will be flooded with new Chinese fans. After a while, Nike may be reworking that shoe deal of yours.

3) Location. Houston is a great city with wonderful people. No one who has played here has been unhappy because of the location. You are from Dallas, and I assume would have family there. Being in Houston allows you to be close to Dallas, while at the same time maintaining your own independent life. It is the ideal situation.

4) Style of play. You would be the perfect high post in Adelman's offense. Your ability to hit the mid range jumper or beat your man off the dribble will spread the floor for Yao, and his attraction of the double teams in the post means more open dunks for you. You guys would compliment each other perfectly. Put this with Kevin Martin slashing from the wing, and you get a high powered offense. On defense, we would expect rebounds and tough play from you, and we know you're up for it.

There you have it, Chris. If you want glitz and glamour, go to Chicago or New York. If you want championships, come be a Rocket.
