The other day i mentioned a sign and trade with Ariza + Jeffries + Hill + Brooks and the 2011 or 2012 pick for Bosh and the 13th pick in this years draft. I brought this up because we are already planning on dealing with Toronto and we could use another late lottery pick in this years draft, so why not do both at the same time? Now, maybe using Brooks was a little too steep, but Toronto would be more likely to take the deal if he were involved. Do you all think that adding Chase instead of Brooks would be sufficient enough for Toronto? What about Taylor? Lets kick this idea around a bit and see what we come up with.
Not Brooks & probably not both Jeffries & Hill. And why would DM want the 13th & 14th pick when the guarenteed contracts would carry over into the next CBA, which will have lower salaries?
Give them Battier, Hayes, Lowry and Taylor for Bosh. That's roughly equal since they can get rid of them all at the end of the next season at the latest. If they add Bellineli, I'd toss in our 2012 #1.
Currently ESPN has Motiejunas(13) and Avery Bradley(14) NBADRAFTROOM has Patrick Patterson(13) and Gani Lawal(14) NBADRAFT.NET has Xavier Henry (13) and Hassan Whiteside(14) DRAFTEXPRESS has Daniel Orton(13) and Hassan Whiteside(14) not too crazy about the DRAFTROOM's.
It's going to be young talent they are going for. I don't think Toronto is in a "win now" mode. They want young talent that they can develop in the coming years. Our rookies and draft picks will be a deciding factor in the trade.
well, after witness so many idiotic ideas came from fans on this forum, i'd like to stick with DM making the decision on his own.
