He's going there to shoot 3's; Morey is shopping him to the other GMs.

pft, it helps them too. People in Houston love them for it. When word gets around about how nice and down to earth they are, that's when you become a legend in a city. People talk.

If Brooks gets the #1 pick, wouldn't he be securing himself a trip out of houston?

Does this mean AB is now officially a protected asset? I mean to say, there is no way in hell he will be traded? I think sending him to the lottery is pretty big, it means they have faith in the fella.

Steve Francis represent the Rockets at the 2002 draft. He was traded 2 years later to the Magic.

Only if he wins the lotto, then we gotta keep him for the NYK picks. :)

NBA changed the lottery system after 93 draft to decease the better team’s chances. In the current system, the 99 Charlotte Hornets was the only best non-playoff team to move into top 3, and they grabbed Baron Davis. Hopefully Rockets can repeat this . Watch Paul Silas’ dazzling smile in this video.

I sort of was hoping we'd send Steve Francis back there.

I have a suspicion that if we land the #1 pick, it would be traded for #2 pick + an asset. Turner would fit much better here.

Agreed. Though, John Wall would give the bigger buzz, Evan Turner would be SO awesome.

Or we could just draft Turner with our number one.

Who cares how he fits. When you have a chance to take a guy like rose you do it. Evan turner is pretty good, but wall has an extra gear, and he seems like a decent worker.
