They can both shoot the lights out. They can both block shots like crazy against the best of them. They can get into a zone and play like being possessed. They stand tall at an average height of 7'1"+. They both work hard to improve their games. They have calm and humble demeanor, but proceed to the game with hunger and coolness. They are both young and upcoming, potential all stars and even great players. And what we've seen from them is just the tip of iceburg, with talent sweating out of every pore of theirs. The seed of uniqueness and greatness has been sown in the Rocketland, the harvest season will come once time allows. Who are they?
usually when you start a thread like this after a few posts you give in and give us the answer.......WHAT IS IT?
Griffin! Same last name as mine...I hate it when I get mail that says GRIFFEN...It's GRIFFIN, Demmit! GRIFFIN!
Actually I was waiting for responses like this: Tyson Chandler and Eddie Curry. or Tim Duncan and LeBron James. (sorry, can't resist it.) They are good! They have loads of talent and potential! Each pair of them may form a dynamite duo stampeding teams, but guess what the answer is: Yao Ming and Eddie Griffin. Duh. I guess only TheReasonSF3 and Azadre are smart enought huh? J/k Seriously, I am drooling over this duo's defensive potential. I think so do the GMs all over the league hehe. It's reasonable to expect that they average 4 blocks a game in total, maybe even more. Is there any other frontcourt combo possesses such size and shot blocking prowess? Wait until the next Yao Ming and Eddie Griffin come out! By the way, Yao is from China the country of dragon and Griffin is the name for a kind of dragon in mystic stories and fantasies.(anyone read the novel Amber? Ya've got to if you claim yourself as a fantasy reader!) How does it sound to call this tandem the Twin Dragons?
I like that name a lot. Makes since too. We should send it in. Nice research, or whatever. edit: also could do double dragons, or whatever the name of that video game and movie.
