I am fine if he really wants to go L.A., it is not a big deal for me. I would think Bosh wouldn't mind playing in L.A. but are lakers willing to give up their center and others to get a PF? Gasol to play a center position? To me, that is a big question.
Look at the poor guy behind Bosh trying to see the game. How much do you think he paid for that seat?
They did also play in the Olympics together on the "redeem team".... Not much to see hear unless he went out back and washed Kobe's balls for him the way Ron Ron did, now that's a different story.
An article you guys might like......love the twitter quote at the end. http://www.thestar.com/sports/baske...hris-bosh-is-leaving-toronto-this-summer?bn=1 More signs Chris Bosh is leaving Toronto this summer For Chris Bosh and Toronto, the breakup is on. The slow fadeout is a familiar story for Raptors fans – jilted again – and a Splitsville for the IM age. We’ve all been there, right? The standard gamut of maybes, evasions, avoided eye contact, missed calls and mixed messages are all in evidence, along with damning notes – via Twitter, for heaven’s sake. And Bosh caught red-handed in someone else’s courtside seats. On national TV. With a visit to Kobe Bryant and the Lakers dressing room afterward. Oh dear. Slowly but surely, Chris Bosh is giving Toronto the kiss-off, and causing a minor Twitterquake in the process. The Raptors’ all-star forward – at least, that’s his designation until July 1, when the NBA declares open season on players out of contract – changed his location from Toronto to “Everywhere” on his Twitter account, and removed a biography section that noted his status as Raptors captain. Meantime, his website was listed as down for maintenance on Tuesday morning. As for that appearance courtside at the Staples Centre on Tuesday night, as the Lakers and the Jazz met in an NBA playoff game, Bosh tweeted: “Sitting here watching the games wishing I was playing. I wonder if that MVP trophy is heavy?” Could it be any plainer? Bosh is a technologically savvy fellow whose gift for self-promotion and attention-grabbing on the web has been as deliberate and well-orchestrated as his rise in basketball. Short of offering to wax Bryant’s Bentley with a balled-up Raptors jersey, it looks like a dead giveaway. The alterations immediately fired up a new round of Internet speculation, after Bosh posed a simple “Should I stay or should I go?” question via Twitter last week. That followed a “Where should I go next season and why?” query that evidently wasn’t quite clear enough. Bosh has spent the first seven years of his NBA career in Toronto with the Raptors, but talk is rampant he will become a free agent and sign elsewhere this summer. For Raptors fans and officials, who have watched the likes of earlier stars Damon Stoudamire, Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter leave town, it’s déjà vu. The only change is the technology, and perhaps that chequered history to soften the blow. There will be moony-eyed Toronto fans, for sure, but given the general level of cynicism surrounding a club that has missed the playoffs the last two years with Bosh at the wheel, it’s a safe bet there’s not a lot of wet eyes in the average Raptors’ fan’s house. Or as one Twitter follower of Bosh put it: “Why is Chris Bosh slowly breaking up with us via Twitter? Get your s*** and leave, Chris. I think we’re all done here.”
I love how everyone says Phil Jackson can make things work. He's coached the 3 most dominant players of their generation. I want to see him coach the clippers or something.
He can't and won't. All phil jackson does is say give the ball to Shaq, or give the ball to Kobe, or Jordan. No way in hell could he coach any team without a superstar.
the US team, the Olympics, their children, Kobe's photoshoot, Arizona SB 1070. there's lots to discuss between NBA players, it's a brotherhood. Scola went to the Mavs/Spurs games in the 1st Round.
Well, he aint gonna leave Toronto on a good note, that's all I know. First T-Mac, then Vince Carter, and now Chris Bosh. Toronto really is a hell hole! http://www.tsn.ca/nba/story/?id=320653
I don't get it, why are people slobbering for Bosh? He was in the cupcake Eastern conference and had a relatively talented team. What the heck has he really done that makes people think he's some game changer like Lebron or Wade or Kobe? There is no question Bosh is an incredible player. He is an all star. He can fill up the stat sheet. He's an excellent no.2 or no.3 guy no way in hell is he a reliable no. 1 guy.
I don't think Bosh attending the game is newsworthy at all, though going into the Lakers locker room after words is a little weird. The thing that *might* be newsworthy is the seats he was in. Laker playoff tickets aren't exactly available to last minute callers, let alone the most prized courtside seats in the league. I'd be very interested to know who those seats belong to and how Bosh came into the tickets. Remember - he's technically still under contract - and other teams can't do anything until 12:01 on July 1.
