we should look at a RB next round. Possibly toby Gerhart? I"m so excited about Kareem. Everyone was questioning his speed and at the combine he shut everyone up. He's a great tackler and he'll have a huge impact on our team
Molden = 3rd round pick Bennett = 4th round pick Find another GM who finds starters 100% of the time in the 3rd and 4th round, especially at DB.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7UZBVb9ctY Sorry, can't embed Todd McShay calls him the most NFL ready DB prospect out of the entire 2010 draft.
First of all, Molden's problem has been staying healthy. Fred Bennet was picked in the middle of the 4th round so I don't know what you expected in him. He had a DAMN good rookie year but has been terrible the last 2 years. This is a make it or break it year for him. Smith drafted Quin in the 4th round and he has a VERY GOOD rookie year. He was easily the 2nd best rookie on the team. Brice McCain is good, solid dime back.
Yes! That is THE ONLY THING that was taken into account when the Texans selected him.... Keep thinking that the coaches that develop these players don't matter
The guy I was responding to said Rick Smith is great at drafting DBs. Who is a good DB he has drafted? If anything, he has proven that is the position he has not drafted well.
Also Molden isn't bad. From everything I've ever heard the team really likes his skill. Problem is injuries keep him from doing anything. I am glad we got a CB. If Smith picked him over Wilson, maybe they're onto something. They did a good job last year in the first round. I'm going to have to check out his highlights. Here's hoping to a season with a CB who gets picks regularly.
Jackson's name popped up alot on several mocks I looked at. An SEC cornerback who played for a winning defense, can't complain.. we addressed a big need right there.
Why was there no talk about staff talking to Kareem? In the article just posted, no talks about Houston being interested.
