Les is a vastly superior owner. Cuban runs his mouth and alienates refs. Les doesn't. Cuban has to stay in the spotlight. Les doesn't. I'll take Les over Cuban every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
High school called. They want their crappy insults back. Cuban is a pretty good owner, imo. You can knock him, but there is a reason Dallas has consistently won 50 games since the millennium, and been in playoff contention.
Yup it's a heated rivalry. I can tell you though, Spurs fans in SA are more passionate about their team more than both the fans in Houston are about the Rockets and fans in Dallas about the Mavs. This city goes crazy for the Spurs. Can't blame them though, this is all they have around here.
The Celtics played in San Antonio in a heated game & Dave Cowens was rumored to have gone into the stands after a heckling fan. When a sportscaster was asked if that was true, he said "I don't think. Cowens is still alive isn't he!"
I'm with you man. I'll take an owner that spends his money to win a ring. Im sure if you look back since 2000 that our record probably isnt as good as the mavericks... just sayin.
