Saw this on ESPN 2 today at around 3:30. The "site we like" on SportsNation was a Rockets blog called "Heart of a Champion." Here is the link: http://heartofchampion.com/home/

Ya it is good I just loved how the Rockets got some attention from the national media even though they aren't in the playoffs. They also have a twitter-username: Heartchampion

Mavs do have a much deeper team than Lakers though. Mavs have:

    - Caron Butler
    - Jason Kidd
    - Shawn Marion
    - Jason Terry
    - Dirk Nowitzki

Any of which can go off at any given time. All of these guys are able to score pretty much at will and Marion and Kidd are still above average defenders. They also have two above average legitimate bigs in Dampier and Haywood as well as Stevenson who is able to can that open three fairly consistently.

Lakers on the other hand, only have their 4 big starters plus Odom:
    - Kobe Bryant
    - Ron Artest
    - Lamar Odom
    - Paul Gasol
    - Andrew Bynum

Everyone else on their team pretty much is garbage, meaning if this draws out to be a long round, Mavs definitely have the upper hand. Lakers best chance is to strike first, strike hard, and keep up the momentum.

I clicked staff and it looks like it is run by a bunch of kids from my high school who graduated a couple years ahead of me.

Michelle Beadle and Cowherd are a pretty good team together. I think the Mavs are just too deep for the Lakers as hard as it is to admit that. The Butler deal really put them over the edge

I wonder how much of a factor Ron Ron will be against the Mavs. His offensive mindset is still really questionable and he seems to not understand the triangle but he sure shut down KD. Man I miss him and his crazy hairdo's

You mean there are other Rockets fan sites other than Clutchfans?

But on a serious note, Michelle Beadle is really pretty.

And I hate Cowherd SO much. Whenever Beadle and Cowherd have their competitions, and Beadle wins, I smile. :D

I'm gonna assume you watched the first game between OKC and LAL?

    Artest's hair is ridiculous.

Yellow for the Lakers, but tacky like Rodman.

    :/

But when he carved the Rocket in his hair against the Lakers last year in the second round I went out and bought an Artest jersey

What was weird was there was no mention of the Rockets on the show. I saw Clyde, Yao, and Dream and had to investigate.

True but at least a Rockets mentions happened even when they didn't make the playoffs

I am torn between who is going to the finals from the Western Conference, as much as it pains to say it I want to agree and go with Dallas but its hard to bet against LA
