Guess he won't get to rip another coach this off-season.

Jay Williams will replace him, although it remains to be seen whether a replacement will be named to the "alternate spot" that Jay used to fill.

dang...espn switched the story on me!
it's interesting they asked alan houston and szczerbiak first, then decided on jay williams...mobley really doesn't get any love.

Mobley nor Francis get any love because outside of Houston and our fans, they are thought of as punks who show no respect for the game.

If they would quit hot dogging they would get more respect.

But it is all about the airtime on ESPN I guess.

It's kind of ironic isn't it? Francis and Mobley don't receive the kind of respect you covet for them because they are busy pursuing the kind of respect they covet for themselves. Could it be that your desire to see their names on National Team rosters is as shallow as their desire to have their dunks on highlight reels? Just food for thought.
