KG noticed. I wonder what trash talk he threw in Luis' direction?

Interior presence will go a long way to repairing the D-leaks.

No doubt, when you have Hill and Yao in there, everyone gets better on D.

Articles like this from a market like Boston do nothing but help the Rockets cause when they are trying to convince free agents like Camby to finish his career as a Rockets backing up Yao.

J O'Neal has lost his athleticism and plays like an injured player. We need health and talent. We are in a very tough conference like you said, with no margin for error.

Yao is pretty nice guy. Scola used to say "Yao is the greatest teammate ever I have" on ESPN during playoffs couple of years ago

Hope this really help our young players

I agree Camby would be good to get, if he could have the Dikembe role off the bench & start if needed. This offseason besides resigning Scola & Lowry, I want the Rockets Organization to find a good 7 footer to back up Yao.

Unless the Spurs make some changes this offseason....I could see them missing the playoffs next year. They are getting older and older, and it shows a lot more often, and their "big three" are getting injured more and more often too.

IMO.....I would love to have bosh as a rocket, but that will be extremely tough....i think....Therefore, I believe a solid backup C is the biggest concern for this team. Yao will likely play from 20-30 min a game, and no more than that because it takes time to get back into the swing of things. I've heard rumours (from my brother) that the Rockets are considering DeSaun Butler from WV.

In my opinion, the only thing that really separates us from being a contender next year is the lack of a play-maker other than Brooks.

Brooks is getting better, but his size will always be a handicap especially in the playoffs. If we could get a wing player that does one thing solidly offensively (jumper, drive to the basket, post) & that can pass the ball well for about 4 assists per game, we'd be in awesome shape.

I'm not sure we can get that this summer - or even if that kind of player exists at the 8 million dollar level.

Scola is probably my favorite player not named Hakeem to ever play for the Rockets. Guy is incredibe, reminds me of the men who play at your local ymca. He is the heart and soul of the Rockets. What a great player, didnt we get him for Spanoulis?

Check it with your own eyes and ask yourself, are you sure such numbers back up your statement?
    http://www.nba.com/playerfile/joe_johnson/index.html
FG: .455 this season, .433 career
    http://www.nba.com/playerfile/kevin_martin/index.html
FG: .398 this season, .449 career

Even if Kmart would be healthy most of the time (a big if IMO)....even in such optimist scenario....wouldn't Joe Johnson be a better fit playing alongide Brooks and for the team in general? Better D alone wouldn't make Joe Johnson better?

Lowry and Brooks play the same position...not sure if you can play Lowry at the SG position in crunch time effectively....our back-court might be too small.

If lowry improved his jump shot I think it would make a big difference.
