I would put all our available starters in this game, just to make sure the Spurs stay at the 8th and play LA in the first round.

I agree. I live in SA and I can't stand the spurs. Their fans wanted nothing to do with them all year until they won a few games recently now they back on the bandwagon talkin smack. Like they are back in the title chase.

Any word on if Manu is playing? If he is not playing we got them. We could use Martin tonight if he is able to play.

I don't like where the arena is located. i actually thought the alamodome was better in a sense it was closer to downtown.

Duncan lights it up for 35 points, Manu chips in another 28, and the Spurs cruise to an easy win.

    Or

Chase Budinger scores a season high 45 points, Jordan Hill drops in another 26, and Houston dominates San Antonio.

    Pick your adventure.

I couldn't disagree more. Unfortunately, I too live in the armpit of TX and people here have always supported their team. Go to just about any place of business and you'll see Spurs gear and employees often wearing Spurs gear. Look at any number of cars around you on any given road at any given time and you're likely to see a freakin' mural taking up the whole window with Parker/Duncan/Ginobili faces emblazoned across it. Blah, blah, blah.

The thing about most Spurs fans is, they don't know shi-ite past their own squad. When people here heard they were getting Jefferson, practically nobody knew who he was.

I go to every Rockets game in S.A. and it really seems to me that they dislike us more than we care about them. But I ALWAYS see plenty of Houston fans....hope tonight is no different!

Agreed, I went to school in SA for 4 years and saw a playoff game there. Despite hating the RoboSpurs style of play I couldn't help but get in the game, the fans are really passionate. The worst are the "go spurs go" bumper stickers, decals, t-shirts etc...

I will be cheering through out the season for player development. :) Let our young guys on the bench play their hearts out so they can be ready for next year when we will knock on the gates to the promise land.

    Player development = Win

I hope Scola has a awesome game and shows the Spurs what they are missing. He seems to do well against them, hope that trend continues.
