Hmmm.... I thought there were a few situations were Scola didn't hustle. A few times, he was just looking at the ball instead of boxing out. For example, in the last 2 minutes there was one situation were he was just looking and not boxing out. Result = offensive rebound. Nonetheless, we can't blame the loss on him. AB - a smart player realizes that he is cold and stops shooting from beyond the arc. He is obviously not a very smart player.
Just a horrible performance offensively. A playoff team losing at home against the Kings?? If they don't turn around, we will not make the playoffs.

except without AB, the Rockets would have been in no position to even tie the game

Scola had 20 rebounds, he did plenty of hustling, his teammates did not

C'mon. I like Landry when he was here but he is not the only guy who hustles on this Rockets team.

He's an 82% Free Throw shooter... not a 100% Free Throw shooter.

Half of our losses since he went down would instead be wins, if not more, if he was still in our lineup, IMO.

He was pretty bad tonight though Rhino.....he had a real bad game.

    So did Kmart.

And honestly, those are our 2 best players, if they both struggle the Rockets are not going to win very often.

He hasnt been able to make both free throws in crunch time this season.
Always 1 out of 2. Very consistent.

What a superb game by Scolandry, putting up 41 points, 6 assists, 28 rebounds together.

    Oh, wait...

Just me? or was the Rockets just standing around on offense 90% of the possessions?

I was talking about Landry having a stat line and a nice game.

I agree that assigning Jeffries to Landry in the fourth didn't lose the Rockets the game, but I feel Hayes on Landry would've lessened the amount of double teams the Rockets had to resort to on Landry.

What a clunker! Both teams stunk! A heartless, lifeless game by the Rockets, but the Kings were awful too! They shoot 32% and still win? Folks, that's hard to do unless you get every rebound and the other team misses ten free throws. Talk of playoffs is becoming a joke. I think this group may have already checked it in. Maybe there was a "Landry" factor, but why wasn't there a "Martin" factor? Well, maybe there was, Evans was terrible.

The boards killed us. The boards killed us. That's the end of our playoff hopes. I guess the brightside would be that we don't have to risk the disappointments of 1 round exit and potentially hurting anymore players.

lowry needs to come back. brooks cannot play this many minutes every game and still have legs. a lot of his shots were coming up short tonight. conroy wasn't able to get anything going either.
