Well it did seem Utah was running up the score with the starters in with a 23 pt lead and 6 minutes left, and our bench in.
Well, I understand Armstrong has not played in at least 2-3 months, but I remember him been a backup for Chandler and he was pretty good for a backup. Armstrong needs some minutes to get acclimatted again.
We're talking about a team who played without three of their best defensive players not including YAO on the road after a night where all the starters played 40 minutes. I'm not really disappointed or happy because i expected it.
This. I'm not worried about it. Battier, Ariza and Lowry are all out and we had 4 rookies in at some points. The Jazz shot unbelievably well. I'm not bothered by this loss at all, other than the fact it's a loss.
This loss isnt disheartening. Our main guys played well(Brooks and Martin), and we are missing 5 of our key players. Can't do much except clap when the other team is sniping it from 3pt range like it was WW2.
I want to say the Jazz were hitting everything, which they were. But teams putting up points on us is too much a common thing nowadays. We're one of the worst defensive teams in the league.
Really not disappointed. The best this team can hope for is 8th seed without Yao. It's just good to see Martin and what he brings to this team. The bad is David Andersen, I think he just gets worse every week.
What I like from tonight's game is that Martin's presence is encouraging those back-door passes that we didn't see very much throughout this whole season. We're also seeing an improved free-throw shooting. Its like his ability to make shots at the line is filtering down to everyone else. Great positives to take away.
Well drawing all those fouls, leaves a missed shot. which is a negative point. So going to the line 7 times is gonna give a Negative score
Ouch...time is running out to make a post-season run. I hate Utah regardless. Everything about the whole f******* state
You're totally confused about the +/- stat. It is the point differential when a player is on the court. So, for the time that Martin was playing, the Jazz outscored the Rockets by 22. Secondly, drawing a foul during a shot does not result in a missed field goal attempt.
