seriously a lot of u guys need to get over t-mac hes gone move on... if u like him so much go to a KNICKS forums and gtfo outta this one.
See, your problem is not thinking this through and understanding what was really out there and just assume other teams would have backed up the Brinks truck for Tmac if he played. You haven't even thought of what actual deals were out there instead of the deal we got. Keep playing the what if game. Meanwhile the rest of us will join the present and reality.
It would be easy to move on but our coach lied to us and said tmac was done when he still has a ton of game left. WTF was RA watching in practice when he decided that tmac couldnt go for more then 8 minutes a night
they probably would have...but tmac wouldn't have been playing.. he opted for season ending microfracture surgery...remember???
Lol you completely don't get it. Ariza STARTED for that team. He was never meant to be a scorer. Guess who they replaced Ariza with? Artest...for his defense. I don't think Tmac makes game winning steals more than once, and did what Ariza did for that team. You see, Ariza played WITHIN the offense. Besides, you said it was all about championships...well he was a starter for a Championship team. He didn't piggy back off of Kobe and Pau to a ring like Gary Payton did with the Heat. But your whole arguments are 'If' If Tmac played we would have got more value. If Tmac played today we coulda won. If If If if.
I love it its obvious that playing tmac would of helped the rockets but you guys love RA so much that you cant see that his ego cost the rockets
Yep, he's assuming that just because Tmac is playing some other team is going to trade someone they had no interest in trading.
Someone should record the comment Bull made about him during the timeout that league pass caught even though the TV did not, and make it viral. We should give Bull some of his own medicine, and maybe get ourselves a competent broadcaster at the same time.
Ya you guys are right letting an all star caliber player play woul of been a horrible move for the rockets. Imagine if RA let MAc play and he averaged around 20 a game yup that would of hurt us. No way in hell that would of got us more for him nope. you guys are right lol
DUDE you really DONT get it.. Its not about our man-crushes on RA.. Its not about our hate for t-mac... It's our LOVE FOR THE ROCKETS. We're not bandwagon fans that follow the team when its winning. We stick with this team through thick and thin. The trades that we made JUST MIGHT NOT workout in the long run.. so what? At least we made an attempt to make this team BETTER. If we DO play t-mac...we're not GETTING any better. Sure...it may help to get to the playoffs... then what?? at the MOST...a 2nd round exit? BUT STILL NOT a championship caliber team. That's Morey's job. DO what he can to build a championship caliber team...and clearly, the Rockets don't wanna do this with t-mac. GET OVER IT...MOVE ON in life... You'll sleep more peacefully.
cost the Rockets what exactly? A championship? You are sadly confused about what we are trying to do here. We will not just hand T-mac the ball and ask him to win games for us. We love our TEAM. Our team wins together without him and I'm damn proud about it. I would rather (and most including coach) let our young guy's develop and learn than let T-mac dominate the ball.
Ok ill explain RA made it personal with tmac he did not play tmac because he really thought that tmac had nothing left he did not play tmac because of a personality conflict RA massive ego would not allow him to play the best player on the team which was tmac. Anytime you throw your best player off the team just because they want to play their is a problem.
Yup, we would have won with T-Mac! <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/PKggO62YPs4&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/PKggO62YPs4&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
