Okay, look, don't get me wrong, I hope AB0 does get good enough to have his number retired (and Yao's certainly will one day), but I wasn't trying to start a game here. I was just trying to say that, judging by his career numbers, Kevin Martin may well have HIS number retired by someone (preferably us), just like Rudy, Hakeem and Calvin, to keep the pattern going.

Besides, it's not like we're gonna get a great player to wear 56...

 

If this core of Brooks-Martin-Yao can win a title, then maybe all 3 will be retired. Hopefully that is the case.

What are you talking about? Other than Yao, we never had any length, at least to the extent we have now.

Say what you will about Armstrong, he will prove more than useful when we go up against teams with real length such as the Lakers and Denvers of the world.
