That will be the scariest front court on the NBA, and at the same time the most injury prone.

Jefferson is coming off ACl surgery and that is a bit of a turn off.

He is a monster and Yao and Jefferson would be the BEST front court in the NBA.

    hard to argue against.

It would be nice but that won't happen.

Kahn knows Jefferson is worth more than Ariza. And he said talented not offensively challenged SF.

    A few things I don't understand here.
    1. What does "getting a talented sf" have to do with moving Jefferson?
    2. Why go after Thomas when you have Love @ pf?
    3. If 1 & 2, then why not Al Jefferson for Tyrus Thomas & John Salmons?

    1. Yes it would be great to obtain Al Jefferson.

    2. You didnt need to make a new thread to get the attention you desired.

Which is why Morey would have to get Jefferson at a bargain price. I don't believe Kahn will do that though. He wants some young assets and I don't see the Rockets trading away Brooks for him.

Indeed it would be. Big Al is a natural 4, too, not a 5 which is what Minnesota always puts him at.

That said, his contract is huge so it gives one pause. He's injured a lot and is having somewhat of an off-year this season.

I keep reading that Amare "hates" Houston or the Rockets. Is there any proof to back up this claim, or is just pure speculation....again?

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe because we didn't get him during the summer?

Amar'e's hatred is based on him Hating Yao Ming. He thinks he is a better player and deserved to be a #1 pick.

    ego maniac at his best.

David Kahn has already publicly stated that he WILL NOT be trading Al Jefferson during the season. This summer? Possibly. But NOT this season.

Actual trade that may happen with the Knicks

Rox get Eddie Curry's expiring 10 mil dollar contract (Keeping eddie on the bench might be a bullet we would have to bite)

Rox get Wilson chandler and larry hughes

Rox trade Mcgrady and use the rafer alston trade exception

Why the rockets do this- They would get even more money off the books (24 mil compared to t-mac's 22.8 mil) at the end of the season and wilson chandler's cheap deal for two season as an added bonus.

Why the Knicks do this they get mcgrady for a giant stiff, hughes expiring deal and a guy win wilson chandler who is a decent starter for a guy who puts fans in seats for a possible playoff push.

I would rather get igoudala and dalembert but it doesnt seem likely to happen.
