what tha fuuu. How dare you even doubt the rockets could not make the post season. Man did you see how much we sucked when we won 40 somethin games. Then we were weak at the 3,5,backup 2. I know we will win at least 50 games if healthy. If 50 games can't get you into the playoffs, the nba is messed up. We will pull a Kings when they first got webber and make some playoff noise.

we re-loaded ourselves. ming, nachbar, a healthy rice, a healthy mo and hopefully a healthy steve is alot. after last season, a full roster is almost like a complete overhaul.

The roster's good enough...but only if we:
    1. avoid the injury bug
    2. develop chemistry with new/pivotal players
    3. play some damn D

yes they are, even if they get derail a few times with injuries. The 1 thing the Rox's didn't have last yr. was a bench with some good role players. They will only get better with time. ( just like wine, as it ages it get better):D

Position/Player/Highest Scoring Average in last 3 years

    PG: Francis (21.6), Norris (8.1), Brown (3.1)
    SG: Mobley (21.7), Nachbar
    SF: Rice (15.9), Morris (3.8)
    PF: Taylor (17.1), Thomas (14.1), Griffin (8.8)
    C: Yao, Cato (6.6)

    IR: Torres (6.0), Collier (4.2)

Nachbar, Rice swing between SF and SG.
Francis swing between SG and PG.
Griffin swings between PF and C.

Ideally, we should get Lewis to play swingman, but with this team, at least our offense would be one of the most balanced and dangerous in the league.

Yao's defense is the X factor in deciding how far we go, but as for the playoffs, I would say we're a lock!
