Luis spent an hour with us and was MONEY... HE really opened up about everything, and even scared Hoffy... http://thegame.podbean.com/category/the-ken-hoffman-and-david-nuno/ <div> <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0" width="210" height="25" id="mp3playerdarksmallv3" align="middle"> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" /> <param name="movie" value="http://www.podbean.com/podcast-audio-video-blog-player/mp3playerdarksmallv3.swf?audioPath=http://thegame.podbean.com/mf/play/q622wp/KH-LuisScolaPt12-3-10.mp3&autoStart=no" /> <param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /> <embed src="http://www.podbean.com/podcast-audio-video-blog-player/mp3playerdarksmallv3.swf?audioPath=http://thegame.podbean.com/mf/play/q622wp/KH-LuisScolaPt12-3-10.mp3&autoStart=no" quality="high" width="210" height="25" name="mp3playerdarksmallv3" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /></embed> </object> <br /><a style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; font-weight: normal; padding-left: 41px; color: #2DA274; text-decoration: none; border-bottom: none;" href="http://www.podbean.com">Powered by Podbean.com</a> </div> <div> <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0" width="210" height="25" id="mp3playerlightsmallv3" align="middle"> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" /> <param name="movie" value="http://www.podbean.com/podcast-audio-video-blog-player/mp3playerlightsmallv3.swf?audioPath=http://thegame.podbean.com/mf/play/hnaiie/KH-LuisScolaPt22-3-10.mp3&autoStart=no" /> <param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /> <embed src="http://www.podbean.com/podcast-audio-video-blog-player/mp3playerlightsmallv3.swf?audioPath=http://thegame.podbean.com/mf/play/hnaiie/KH-LuisScolaPt22-3-10.mp3&autoStart=no" quality="high" width="210" height="25" name="mp3playerlightsmallv3" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /></embed> </object> <br /><a style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; font-weight: normal; padding-left: 41px; color: #2DA274; text-decoration: none; border-bottom: none;" href="http://www.podbean.com">Powered by Podbean.com</a> </div> <div> <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0" width="210" height="25" id="mp3playerlightsmallv3" align="middle"> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" /> <param name="movie" value="http://www.podbean.com/podcast-audio-video-blog-player/mp3playerlightsmallv3.swf?audioPath=http://thegame.podbean.com/mf/play/h8s73u/KH-LuisScolaPt32-3-10.mp3&autoStart=no" /> <param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /> <embed src="http://www.podbean.com/podcast-audio-video-blog-player/mp3playerlightsmallv3.swf?audioPath=http://thegame.podbean.com/mf/play/h8s73u/KH-LuisScolaPt32-3-10.mp3&autoStart=no" quality="high" width="210" height="25" name="mp3playerlightsmallv3" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /></embed> </object> <br /><a style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; font-weight: normal; padding-left: 41px; color: #2DA274; text-decoration: none; border-bottom: none;" href="http://www.podbean.com">Powered by Podbean.com</a> </div>
Pardon me for asking, sir, but... what is "GREAT RADIO"? Is that the title of the radio show you conduct, host, produce or direct? And thanks for the audio.
Wow, never been asked to clarify what GREAT radio is... But uhm, I think the hour with Luis was great radio...
Puff, this was great. Thanks for always having the best Rocket interviews and recaps for us. It has been a pleasure knowing that you and Raheel love this team and really bring the die-hards what they like to listen to. Thanks.
great interview, it's always great when there's more to it then the usual cliche Q and A... The part about not playing with chuck because the score would end up 0-0 is sig material  maybe next time you can ask him about crazy fans...like what's the craziest experience he's had with a fan off the court...also, does he ever play pick up ball during the summer around houston? Not necessarily a league, but around his home, a rec center, etc..
Pretty cool interview. Scola has a good view of the whole trade thing. Anybody on this team could be traded soon, except probably Yao. To much on him right now....not to mention the major money he brings in.
lol everyone knows you don't play one on one with chuck... zero zero that's horrible! Puff... definitely great stuff! Thanks so much for getting it up quick for us to listen!
how far does 1560 reach? i drive back & forth b/w houston & college station and want more to listen to outside of 610 & 790.
That was indeed great radio. Nicely done. Seldom do we here an interview that the players are saying a lot more than the usual cliche answers I really wish Scola remains a Rocket until he retires.
disregard Swoly-D, Nuno, he's the "special" kid on this BBS. We try to just ignore him and not pay attention to his 3rd grader jokes, grammar corrections, and smartass comments. Great radio indeed. Luis is awesome.
He said he wrote it in Spanish, then somebody translated it. Scola indeed is a GREAT interview. Articulate, insightful, funny, and generous with his comments. A beautiful spirit! Morey, make him a Rocket forever!
I can't remember if he said it on air or not, but he said in the break at least that he wrote it in Spanish, then someone translated it, but he read through it in English and made the changes to make it mean what he meant and it went back and forth a few times. So it's his words completely. He also said that it wasn't about him, that any player on any team could have written it.
