I wasn't on the Bosh trade before, but now I think I am. Yao/Bosh duo would look pretty sick. We got the height and could compete against he Lakers as someone said earlier. When Yao goes down, Bosh (unlike Scola, no offense) could still be the franchise player who carries a team. Plus our front line would still be pretty solid with just him (plus a decent back up who's at least 6'10). Yao/Bosh duo I'd assume would definitely command a double team. Brooks/Ariza/Battier/Budinger should be open for 3s all day. Maybe this is all near impossible. But I must say, it's hella fun to dream.
You're probably not gonna hear anything significant or real until later[closer to the deadline]. Everything right now is rumor and speculation. Even then you might not though. Morey has made "surprise" moves if you will. He makes the moves that go unmentioned.
It's a helluva dream but some of those players you mentioned might and will likely have to be included in a Bosh trade(unless of course they somehow found a way to bring him in through FA but that doesnt seem viable)
I hope O'neal is right on that last comment! I still love T-Mac and I hope he is VERY successful wherever he ends up after the trade!
The Bucks just signed Stackhouse for the rest of the season. Bogut has been untouchable since he got drafted.
I like Dalembert but he's not all that young at 28. And do you really want Iguodala? That would solidify the Rockets 2 starting wings as by far the least efficient duo in the history of basketball on any level ever! If Iguodala comes, Ariza has to go. Did you see the game today where the league's best team, Milwaukee, shut the Rockets down because nobody other than Brooks can shoot from 12 feet or farther? And that's a combined $68.5 million on the books after this season; that's a huge commitment for a team that Morey is not convinced can win it all. Iggy does not work. Landry may never score again if Ariza and Iggy are out there together because he will be triple-teamed everytime he touches it.
