I was at that game with my Dad! Stayed until the end and my mother thought something awful must have happened to us. Of course, I was much older. At the time, wasn't it the longest game in history? Certainly seemed like it. Very exciting, regardless.

Saw the Oilers win the first AFL championship at Jeppesen Stadium against the LA Chargers on 1/1/1961. George Blanda and Billy Cannon had great games.

Definitely the 13 in 35 game, no doubt whatsoever.

Game 7 vs Knicks 1994. I cried after Max hit the 3 (tears of joy and relief of previous Houston sports teams' failures).
Game 6 vs Knicks 1994. Exhaled after Dream's block of Starks.
Game 5 vs Jazz 1994 to win Western Conf. Always good to see a Jazz whoopin.
    Mike Scott's no hitter 1986.

I was at the Jets-Oilers game when Buddy Ryan threw a punch at Kevin Gilbride. Of course, being insided the stadium, we had no idea it had happened until after the game.

Also, I drove over from Mauriceville for the Rockets first championship parade, then went to the Astros game against the Padres that afternoon. Bagwell hit three homeruns, including two in one inning. That was a pretty good day.

That's one of mine. Great game. We trounced the Lakers and Luther Head had a HUGE dunk.

Also, at the 2005 Rose Bowl when Dusty Mangum made the game winning field goal.

Hakeem receiving the mvp and tailgating outside the rose bowl as the horns won the title.

Best: 1997- Astros win the pennant

Worst: 1997- Stockton hits the shot in Game 6.

Wow, hey, both in the same year- didn't even realize that. Crazy.

I was at that game too.

I've never witnessed a buzzer beater. I have also been to:

2006 Rockets vs. Mavs season opener - Blow out win to return the favor.
2007 Games 1 and 2 Rockets vs. Jazz - Wins.
2008 Rockets vs. Celtics - End of the 22 game winning streak. :(

Is it OK that I actually tear up a little every time I watch this? ;)

I was at that game too!
For great moments I was also at the 1992 Citrus Bowl, now Capital One Bowl, the first New Years Day Bowl that Cal had played since 1959.

    Another great moment.
1986 WCF Game 4 Rockets against the Lakers. Sampson set a playoff record with 22 rebounds and the Summit was shaking it was so loud.

Some not so great moments but historical.
Saw the first and last games ever played by the Astros in Metrodome.
Saw the last game played by Craig Biggio in Wrigley.
Saw the last regular season game played by Clyde Drexler.
Saw the first homeloss in TCF Stadium, the Gophers quickly followed with several more losses..
