Because of his defense and because the team feels its worth putting him in those situations for his own offensive development.

I would have thought you'd say something about RA letting Ariza play as much as he wants...

Because he made one lucky 3 pointer against the Lakers to send it to OT.

T-Mac got hot one time. If only the Rockets traded him soon afterwards.

This is Ariza's team now, why do you guys think Adelman got rid of t-mac.

He wants Ariza to expand his game and show what he learned from Kobe.

Just b/c you played on a championship team doesn't mean you inherit the throne from Kobe Bryant.

Then Brian Cook would be our go to guy right now.

Err, no. Basically, Ariza's a good swingman that can play solid defense (when he tries) and is slowly developing a decent offensive game. You don't play Ariza, who do you play instead?

The speedy Brooks/Lowry combo? While Lowry's defense is impressive, he and Aaron's issue is height and how easily if put on a taller SG, they can be shot over or when going to the basket, blocked. Also as they were shown to last night, some times those lay ups and 3 pointers just don't just fall.

Chase? Defensively better then he was said to be before the season, he is still far from a good enough defender or consistent offensive player to warrant opening minutes.

Pretty much, we are stuck with the current lineup until like Landry did before, someone from the bench actually steps up enough to get closer minutes and one of our starters fails to deliver.

I was pretty upset when we had two PG's on the floor and Ariza was running the offense... and of course on that particular play he turned it over...

Guys Ariza was a horrible trade, morever screwed the pooch on this one. I always knew he would only be a complimentary player at most. Only reason why he was decent was because of KOBE.

He has bad judgement, look at how he threw that elbow, look at his decisions on the court, not to mention the flagrant on Rudy Fernandez last year, he is a thug with know basketball IQ.

We got screwed, better yet Morey got screwed.

Ariza was not a trade. He signed with the Rockets and Ron signed with the Lakers. Rick and DM didn't want Ron anymore and was not going to resign him. They thought Ariza was a better fit and had a better "upside".

Regardless, Trevor is not what we expected. I'm pretty disappointed, but hopefully Morey realizes this as well, packaging him with Tracy. If not, maybe Morey is right and he blossoms into a decent wing, especially when Yao comes back.
