Its not Fair!! Mavericks got a new logo/jerseys, and Rockets didn't

Mavericks uniforms are butt ugly. Or were anyway.

And that hat thing was a lot more stupid than that dumb Rocket caricature.

It has already been stated, I am pretty sure,
that when(if) the Rocekts get a new arena, they will also get new unis.

If you ask me, why the hell do they need to wait til the new arena comes. Maybe if they could actually sell some merchandise(something they can't do with that crappy logo and those busy jerseys), they wouldn't have to raise ticket prices every year, even though the team gets worse and worse.

Dallas Mavericks are working on a new logo, and new uniforms for next season....Why aren't the rockets doing this, no offense, but I hate the Rockets pajamas.!!!!!!

I agree with you 40. My wife will not wear anything with their logo if it has the dumb looking rocket with the teeth on it.

Good to see the mavs are finally getting out of those ugly unis. If the rockets get the arena , then most likely a change in unis will happen.

By the way, Do you have a link where I can see how it looks like or is it not done yet?

Why change unis and in a sense

a)reward the fans with a new exciting logo
b)risk another poor design
c)face the risk of having to change again when(if) they move
d)lose one of their areas of leverage (you know, they can say "hey, cmon, vote for the arena, youll have a great new place to play ball and you will also get new uniforms and logos. It'll be great!")
e)when they are not even sure changing the log will increase merchandise sales as there doesnt seem to be enough fans in town anyways-at least as far as the last vote goes.

Way I see it, dont worry about the unis. We are getting a second chance at keeping the Rockets at what looks to be a very very good and fair deal for all Houston residents and we should worry about that first. Then we can concetrate on those horrendous things.
