toronto only trades bosh if we give them landry. they wouldn't want ariza because they have derozan. i wouldn't be surprised if it came down to toronto trading their bad contracts like calderon and turkoglu with bosh and houston gives up landry mcgrady brooks etc.. think about it why would they want turkoglus 60 million dollar contract while they only win 10 games a season.

What's all this hype about Bosh ?? The only thing he got going for him is height which we can use right now but defensively he's not that great. He never gets many block shots, only 1 per game average over the last few years and he's not much better than Scola and Landry.
I'm definetly not thrilled about giving up our future (AGAIN !!) for some so-called superstar. Didn't the Rockets learn from:
    - Trading Thorpe and causing Maxwell to feel unappreciated for Drexler
    - Trading the future in Horry & Cassell for Barkley
    - Trading for Scottie and throwing away many draft picks for bs players, over the hill aholes etc.

Brooks, Scola and Landry are untouchable !! Forget about the PF position, we have it covered. Worry about SG and SF cause Battier, Ariza, JT and Budinger are not going to cut it.

We would have a nasty starting line up, Yao, Bosh, Ariza, Wafer, Brooks

If we were able to keep Brooks in the trade and Wafer is coming here

Personally I would pretty much hate to lose any of our guys except Andersen, Cook, and Taylorl, I think this team with Yao is enough, but I didn't go to MIT so I'll trust in Morey.

Mind checking the birth dates of Bosh, Scola, Landry and Brooks?

I'm torn regarding Bosh. He is putting up some beast numbers but is he a guy who can get himself a decent shot at the end of a game?

Why are people in love with Wafer? He is a nice player coming of the bench, but his lack of defense, BBall IQ, and selfishness don't translate into a starter or even a great basketball player.

With that lineup all he would really have to do is attack the rim and shoot open jumpers. Basically, just be himself.

He isn't my ideal starter either but with that kind of talent around him, his shortcomings would be easily covered for.

Ok he really is an unknown, but he is an athletic guy who can score, IF he can play in the offense we would have a nasty starting line up, do you not agree that Brooks, Ariza, Bosh, Yao, would be a great starting line?

Didn't cross my mind but great point!

    Yao
    Bosh
    Ariza
    Battier(for argument sake)
    Brooks

    or

    Bynum
    Gasol
    Artest
    Kobe
    Fisher

The only position where its a mis-match for the Lakers is SG and Brooks makes up for it at PG. If we deal Landry, the bench would still be better IMO then LA with Lowry, Scola, Andersen, Hayes, Taylor and possibly a productive 1st rd pick as compared to Farmer/Brown, Odom, Walton and Powel.

Since we're all dancing, please answer as objectively as possible. The so called report says it doesnt involve mcgrady and we know bosh makes 17m or so. For this thread purpose even if its not a realistic scenerio, what if colangelo asked for yao? If he called morey and said bosh for yao and filler on both ends, would u do it?
