Hey Clutchfans, I attended the New Years Eve Classic with the Rockets vs. the Dallas Tragics, sorry Mavericks and wished that you all got a chance to see the National Anthem performed by Soulfruit. I know the anthem is only broadcasted during all-star game or playoffs now. Since we won, I am proposing that the group sing at the first home game for the playoffs. :grin: Enjoy the behind the scenes footage as I got a chance to walk through the players tunnel by the LEXUS LOUNGE and passed by Dirk...I will extra video later. Gun Show you referred to? That was awesome back then. :grin: Got to love the kid, he's a terrific "actor" I may say.
I say no to Soulfruit. I don't care for the name Soulfruit, and the crowd couldn't sing along with their rendition of the anthem. I do think they have talent though. I think they could do a killer version of "Midnight train to Georgia". And the Rockets don't need any good luck charms to beat the Mavericks.
Soulfruit had a nice rendition. Nice harmony, not too flashy without being boring or samey. They can come back often.
