That's what I got too. We have to win and 2 of those 3 have to lose for us to make the playoffs.

I think so. I don't think the Jets will lose since I think the Bengals will sit most of their good players. Raiders and Chiefs could win but it's not likely. Still have hope.

I think both the Bengals and the Pats will play their players. They still have the 3rd seed to play for. So it should be a fun Week 17.

    3rd seed?

I swear if those coaches risk their players health to see which gets slaughtered by SD in the 2nd round, then they should be fired.

The Colts could have made things much easier for us. I really did not see this coming at all.

I certainly would rather play the Chargers than the Colts, IMO.

raiders have proven that they can upset anybody, and they are playing at home. wouldnt be that farfetched.

Bottom line texans put this on themselves. A variety of failure, choke jobs, and dumb decisions contributed to most of the texans 7 losses.

Honestly, I thought the same thing about playing their guys for the 3rd seed because the Bungals want to avoid the Ravens but forgot about the Chargers. Pats, don't care either way they just want a chance to prove they are the best IMO.

WHy don't you go start a different thread rather about that. We are here discussing the Texans and how they will get to the playoffs... You can't say that about the losses and not about the wins. People can be so blind. They were not going to win most of those games.

I am mostly frustrated about the COLTS. Cannot believe they just gave an easy one away to the Jets when it has playoff implications. I HATE THE COLTS. FU COLTS ORGANIZATION. NO WONDER THEY HAVEN"T WON BUT ONE SUPERBOWL. Much rather be a Texans fan choke in the regular season than in the playoffs the way the COLTS do every friggin year except.... GOD I HATE THEM...

Brilliant. If you believe it's better to not make the playoffs than lose in the playoffs, you should love the Colts for trying to help the Texans do that, no?

While all of that is true...they took care of business today and are playing next week for the potentially their first playoff appearance ever. Lots to be excited about for next Sunday...easily the most interesting Sunday in Texans history...at least since the franchise opener vs. the Cowboys.

    GO TEXANS!!!!

We can't be mad at the Colts for doing what's best for their team, especially since we all have been counting on NE to do the same thing next week. Or I guess everyone pissed at Caldwell thinks Brady and Moss should go all 60 next week??

What bothers me the most about what the Colts did today wasn't that they benched their players, but it was WHEN they benched their players. Up 15-10 halfway through the third, and you're gonna decide to throw in a rookie who hasn't played in a single game yet? And against the top defense in the NFL no less??? Do it when you're up big, or down, or do it at HALFTIME But you don't do that when it's a one possession game halfway through the third. It just makes NO sense.....and for them to crap on a historic record like that is just plain pathetic. Resting their players has NEVER worked for the Colts, so why do it now, in front of your home fans?? The entire Colts franchise just reeks of smugness, almost as if they're saying "we don't need your piddly little records...." Well, if the record was so meaningless, why do the 72 Dolphins to THIS day still celebrate when the last team loses?? It obviously means something to them.

Looks like i'll be disregarding everything I stand for and rooting for the Patriots next week. Sorry, not the way I would have wanted it go down but I'll do whatever is necessary!

I'm amazed that we're still in the mix after all the hiccups.

The Colts loss today was disppointing but I think Texans fans everywhere should be thankful we're even alive at this point.

All of us would've taken the scenario we're currently in 3 weeks ago.

So, what needs to happen now in order for the Texans to make the play-offs?
