    never give a lot of money to a guy who can't create his own shot, unless he's a ben wallace type player.

    And to think they traded away a potential all star in Lamarcus Aldridge who just received a massive extension for this guy, that gets nothing.

    Letting a guy become restricted doesn't mean much, certainly not in next summer's market. This might actually be strategy on the Bull's part, they might just think he's worth more than his cap hold, or they want to be able to renounce him in order to bring in say D-Wade.
