    Why?

Tonight the Rockets will draft Yao Ming with the #1 overall selection.

Eight years ago tonight, the Rockets defeated the Knicks in game 7 of the 1994 NBA Finals to win their first championship.

I think this is good karma and a great omen for the Rockets and Yao Ming!

    YIKES! I screwed up.

The Rockets won title #1 on June 22nd. The Rockets drafted Ralph Sampson #1 on June 28th.

Oh well. I STILL THINK IT'S GOOD KARMA!!!!!!!!!

Bet u thought it was today because on the Rockets.com website, it mentions the first championship on their calender? By default, you would think that date was today. I would have thought the same but remembered the first championship was on the day after my birthday. :)
