Houston Chronicle: Judge finds Rockets star not guilty of DWI

    I can't pass the line test if Iwere sober. Bad balance these days. :(

    Steve could have saved himself the media frenzy by bribing the cop right then and there.

    He said he had had 4 drinks in 4 hours, so he knew he was probably borderline, or at least unsure of whether he had waited long enough before driving. A blood test means an extra delay of a half hour or more, enough time to bring him below the very strict and low limit of blood alcohol %.

    Steve didn't get off the hook because he's rich, he got off because he's smart, AND because he wasn't driving while very intoxicated--maybe just a little.

    Anyway, that's all just a guess.

    I think everyone does owe him an apology, though, for REAMING him, but not for doubting him.
