Hahaha Tehrangeles has 10x more restaurants to choose from, its inevitable lol. But yeah as someone else posted, the new Garson (my friends dad owns it) is actually pretty good, but the old Garson was better imo. But I feel Shawarma King, has the best chicken shawarma's. Especially when the garlic is on the side, and not inside so you can dip it, and it doesnt melt or anything lol.
Ya the old Garson was much better, I remember back in the day I always went for my birthday. I stick with Kasra now, Darband is good too its been there forever, and the bar and grill Darband is okay at best. The hookah is the only reason i go for that.
Last time I was in LA, I went to this spot called The Spot in Encino. Nothing but BMWs in the lot. True story.
Quick question to anyone that has had the "famous" chicken and rice on 53rd and 6th in New York. Where can i find something comparable to that here?
The Darband Bar and Grill sucks, they have really good catering food, but when I go there I don't like it at all, I don't know how that makes sense but it does lol. Their hookah isnt even good, they have like no flavors to choose from haha. Oh and about the BMW's, I wouldn't expect anything else, well maybe some Benz's here and there lol.
Didn't want to make a new thread so I found this one. Just went to Cafe Byblos tonight and had a great time. Good food, good entertainment and decent hookah. You guys should check it out some time.
byblos is a rip off , house of kabobs is eh , rather go to dimasis Go to aladdin on Westimier/montrose
I tried the Dimassi's in the Dallas area a few weeks ago, and it was ok for the price. The only thing I didn't like was that food that was supposed to be hot really wasn't very hot, but I attributed that to the location being new. So I'll try it again in a few weeks to see if they've gotten better. I'm not sure if the Houston location is better or worse.
Whats that sandwich gyro looking thing that comes with red sauce and white sauce from phonecia or whatever? Someone brought it to me once and it changed my life.
