My take on the top 12 talented new comers for this years draft..........

This is more of a prediction of what's to come three to four years down the road...........

    Ming....... 16 points a game
    9.5 rebounds a game
    3.4 blocks a game

    Williams......... 19 points a game
    8 assists a game

    Dunleavy......... 16 points a game
    7.5 rebounds a game
    5 assists a game

    Gooden............ 15 points a game
    8.5 rebounds a game

    Tskitishvili......... 21 points a game
    9 rebounds a game

    Butler................ 18 points a game
    7 rebounds a game

    Wilcox............. 16 points agame
    11.5 rebounds a game

    Hillario............. 18 points a game
    11 rebounds a game
    3.5 blocks a game

    Jeffries............ 15 points a game
    8 rebounds a game

    Q.Woods........... 19 points a game
    7 rebounds a game

    Wagner............ 21 points a game
    6 assists

    Stoudamire....... 18 points a game
    11 rebounds a game

In other words..............I think Hillario will be better in all aspects then Ming. I think Ming will be a back up all-star center type. Real good, but not the second coming, but then who is?

I believe that these 12 players will be top 40 overall NBA talent come three to four years, that's how high I am on this draft.

Scary thought................The Clippers will have Hillario, and Stoudamire to back up Brand and Michael "O" with Miles, Odom, Magette, Dooling, Richardson, and Jaric( Whom it is said is the next Stojakovic)...........well if the Clippers are willing to pay that is, that's a whole other story.

I think that next year the Rockets and Clippers will be fighting it out for 5th spot in the West..........Too bad they can't be in the East.............

    Boy is this Draft exciting............

I don't think there's any way Hilario will average 18 ppg. The guy has zero offensive skills right now. I'm pretty sure Ming will average more points then him. I also think you're being way too optimistic. Rarely ever does one draft produce that many stars.

i think you are being WAY to generous in the PPG stat... all 12 will avg more than 15PPG??? No way. when was the last time that happened?

I don't know about your prediction with Hilario. Doesn't he have virtually no offensive game right now? I see him more as a Ben Wallace type player than a scorer.

Well they are not all real all stars, but near all-stars, about 5 or so of them will actually make the all-star team. But all in all a great draft, in my opinion.

Hillario is just so very athletic, 7-5 wing span, 260 pounds with only 4% body fat, over 6-10 and still got another inch or two. Watch out for him, I tell you, once he gets refined and trained in about three to four years.............Don't forget that in the Goodwill games of 2001 he averaged 14 a game in just 26 minutes, so scoring will be there, especially with time.

4 of the players on that list may reach the level you are predicting. All those stats are completely overexaggerated.

i believe those stats are high, but hillario i really believe will develop into a stud just give him some offensive moves.

One other thing: There are only like 4 or 5 players in the NBA that average a double double. On this list of 12, there are 3 that are averaging a double double. And there are 2 that are almost there. And the fact that ALL 12 are achieving "star" quality numbers is a bit optimistic.

Wow, huby_n1......you obviously think there is not a single bust in the first 12 picks. I have to figure 5 of those guys are not going to live up to their hype.

are y'all crazy? most of those numbers were better than they put up with inferior college competition. wilcox 11 rebounds? he couldn't even bust double digits in college. stoudamire is gonna get 18 points and 11rpg as a high school rookie? those MIGHT be his game highs for the season. theres optimistic and there's nuts. i think this will be a great draft but in a few years. i see maybe 5 players in double digit scoring and maybe 2 guys(probably none though) with double digit rebounding.

I agree. There will never be a draft where the top 12 players are stars. About 5 of these players will be good players. About 5 of these players will be subject to role play. 2 of them will be looking for new homes every year as they barely cling on to life in the NBA.

If you take the time to read my original post you will see that I said 3-4 years down the road...................not next year.....Anyways the Lakers will always be there with Shaq and Kobe and possibly Woods??? And when Shaq goes the Lakers will get two more all-stars in his place with that extra 26 million a year to join KOBE...........So what's the difference anyways.......Unless the Clips challenge with all that young talent............SWEEEEEEEET.............

And yes I do think there will be a flop or two out of this group naturally. But....................Still I think very highly of this crop. And Wilcox in 4 years will be much more productive in numbers than his past college season, that's a given. Maybe not quite the numbers I posted, but not far off.

WHAT? That would make this the most talented draft of all time. Those numbers are far fetched, actually, really far fetched

i didnt recongnise benjamin, but if you wouldve told me that the rockets could have him, just from seeing his college highlights...

we would be one upset franchise!
