The game will be at 7 pm of this forum´s time, as some make me notice with yesterday´s game, it will be broadcasted by the same channel and will be at the same hour that the match played yesterday, thus 7pm.

    http://www.ustream.tv/channel-popup/fenixtv-max

(That´s a 24 hs broadcast of the channel that will have the game tonight)

    Enjoy

    A 8: 9 B, end of 1st.

Scola is playing great. It seems he is the only offense threat for ANT.

Scola! Follows his own miss with the offensive board and then makes the shot. Luis is playing very, very well. Just before that he had an assist for the trey. Had a steal and at least a couple of boards before this last play.

    edit: Argentina by 20!

Scola has been great; a lot of hustle out there.

Brasil pretty much can't buy a shot on the defensive end. Very little dribbling or movement; the ball pretty much gets bricked every time down the floor.

61-32 after third quarter? I thought they were at like 29-30 when the third quarter started lol

Brazil just got it handed to them.

He just hauled his 'unathletic" ass down the court on a fast break for the deuce and one!

Anybody else watching this game? Scola is an absolute beast. I know this is against weak competition, but he has shown similar qualities in the NBA.

Morey keeps mentioning how we need allstars, either from draft, trade, or improvement from within. The obvious candidate for the latter is Aaron Brooks. But not many people realize how much room Scola has to grow. He may not be young, but he is still new to the NBA. Big men in general take longer to adjust to the speed and pace of the league. Add the fact that he is foreign, and it is not a stretch to think he can improve even further.

I am not saying he will necessarily develop into an bonafide allstar. But look for him to average a double double next year. Something like 15 points, 10 rebounds, and a whole lot of heart and hustle.

That will be good enough to become a Star in my book, whether he gets voted in or not.

He's unreal! 19 points and 11 boards on over 50% shooting. They are just killing Brazil and Luis is a huge part of it.

edit: they finally took him out. Argentina by at least 30. They were ahead by 2 at the half.

edit: I think Luis was MVP (of the tournament?). He has some more trophies to park around his house! Would be interested in the stats, if someone has them in English, lol! I just got to watch the second half. :)

Man, I could watch Scola play all day and all night. He really plays the game the way it should be played and never takes a play off. The guy is a rock and he's going to be this year's MVP of the Rockets, IMO, and blow up his production, unless we get some new scoring options. Luis can PLAY!

    VIVA SCOLA!!

Brazil came with the B squad because the NBA didn´t want to come to play before the argentinean crowd.

This same tournament will restart next week in brazil, argentina will have this same team and Brazil will bring on the best they can there.

It was a sorryazz actitude from the brazilians. The Argentine federation complained, but that´s it.
