They should relocate back to San Diego. Maybe a new location would revive the franchise. Anyway, They did come from San Diego before moving to LA.
Clippers. Not even close. There may be others that are currently in worse shape, but the Clippers have a long established history of ineptitude that pre-date the existence of teams like Memphis.
Clippers have the worst history of a franchise. However, Grizzlies have out-done the Clippers in recent years. What makes the Grizzlies' failure more amazing is that the legendary Jerry West was at their helm for a while. West was supposed to be one of the greatest GMs ever.
At least the Clippers have a market. These teams that are struggling to exist are the biggest jokes, and considering the Grizzlies seem to be the best example of an organization that struggles both financially and on the court makes them my biggest joke. I think that the NBA and MLB should consider contraction. At the very least one of the smaller markets needs to move to Seattle/Las Vegas.
Clippers have got to be the worst organization in league simply because they've existed the longest from the list and have won the least in comparison to the other teams. Grizzlies and the T-Wolves came into existence in the early and mid 90s. The bobcats in 2004 and the Clippers in 1970.
Knicks FTW. $1 BILLION wasted in 10 years. Clippers, Grizzlies and Bobcats are just cheap that's defensible but Knicks are plain terrible considering the money Cablevision has flushed down the toilet.
as much as that gasol deal makes me hate the grizzlies. biggest joke is the clippers... by far... no other team has such a terrible reputation around the league for not doing what it takes to build a contender.
