This is shocking and really sad. :-( Strange how they are reporting it, but seem baffled by the cause. It's almost surreal.

Just caught the end of Joe Buck's announcement of the news on Fox. It's been a very tough week for him and he almost couldn't get through it.

Kile is survived by a wife and twin daughters. Leaving behind a wife and young children just rips your heart out.

Whoa, that is pretty shocking. Really saddened by the news. RIP Kile. Is a honor to see you pitch last year at Enron vs. the Stros.

I wonder if he commited suicide? It says he was found dead in his hotel room. Doesn't say anything about forced entry, gunshots, etc.

This is terrible news for his family, his team, his friends, and his fans:( RIP, you will be a true Astro for life, thanks for the great years you gave us.

I read on the MLB website that he collapsed in his room before he died. Here is the link. This is going to lead to speculations like steroids and drugs, but I hope people will just be respectful and wait for the official report.

I'm a Cardinal fan that grew up (and lives in) Chicago, despite the winning, we've had to deal with blueberry heads and Don Dekenger and Ankiel's wildness and THOSE were soap operas.

Now it's real. I was hoping to see the guy tomorrow. What a terrible week.

Just devastating. I've had the pleasure of meeting DK and his wife, since his wife was a sub for one of my HS classes way back, they were/are great people. I really feel bad for his family, especially the kids. I know what it's like to lose people very close. My condolences. R.I.P.

....no sign of foul play....cause of death undetermined....(St.Louis GM Walt Jocketty)

"He had dinner with his brother last night...."

    "Nothing really new to report....."

"It look like he was asleep in bed....."

"Great father...he and his wife were very much in love..."

"Instrumental in the development of Matt Morris..."

That's all from Jocketty, not sure who is talking now...

"He had a full physical in spring training...."

(Sorry folks, I have to go.)

Reporter just ask i it could have been something he digested.
    "farfetched" was the doctors statement.

Possibly if he died in his sleep could be a vessel might have ruptured in his brain or possible heart attack....

I hope Kile did not take his own life.

I doubt it was foul play because the door was locked from the inside with that metal bar that goes across the door to prevent forced entry. Only way to lock that would be from the inside .
