I went last night- I thought it was awesome!! I thought it was very different and unique! Would definately go back sometime. Thanks for the passes!
Great! Did you need the passes or was it free for everyone? I'm glad you enjoyed it. I hope to get down there to play for a weekend sometime soon.
I'm not sure what this means, but yes I would think so. I don't know what minority you would be talking about.
I'm coming to Houston this weekend to play at Pete's at the Houston Pavilions. I will be playing Friday and Saturday and possibly Sunday. If anyone comes out and gives me the heads up that you are a Clutchfan, I'll buy you a drink. Post on here that you're coming out and I'll look out for you, or you can e-mail me at johnkingtx@gmail.com and I'll give you my number so you can text. I don't get to meet many people from this site, so that would be fun. The main reason that I wanted to post is that I will be bringing my wife in town with me and we'd like to make it a little getaway. So, do any of you have any suggestions for nice restaurants for dinner in the general downtown area? Also, suggestions for good local lunch spots for burgers/sandwiches, etc... We might go to the Texas/Rice game if we can get tickets but where's a good place to watch the game if we don't go? We are Texas fans. Thanks!
I should add that for dinner we'll probably spend about $100 including a bottle of wine, so something in that general area.
If you want to stay in the Pavilions, try Andalusia. First floor, on Caroline I believe. If you want to venture out there are a ton of good places around there.
ive been to petes on 6th a couple times, and ive been to this dueling piano bar in vegas a few times, lots of fun everyone should check it out
well for a free drink, I'd go...but i'd go anywy...pretty cool atmosphere, only been to the on Addison... I love Mia Bella downtown, but something more romantic would be Capital Grille or even Pappas Steakhouse...hell for that matter, I love Del Frisco's...
