I remember Sessions had 24 or 25 assists in one game last season or so.

I prefer overall production to one side of the ball or the other. If Andersen is poor at everything other than offense but his offense doesn't translate well to the NBA - he's worthless. A big rebounder/defender will always be useful. So, i'm not making a case for Petro - I'm making a case for a more well rounded player. I'd love to get a Przybilla.

Ahhh...no way we agree on this one. :D

I actually like Pryzbilla a lot too, and if he was a free agent and the Rockets were looking to sign him up to a 2-3 year deal for 3 million/year (similar, I assume, to what Andersen will get), I'd have no problems at all with that. Unfortunately, Przybilla earns 6 million/year, and the only way to get him and cut down the cost for us is to trade players we value like Landry or Battier.

That is probably what Morey is thinking too.

Hopefully Von is still there when the smoke settles.

    Ramon Sessions

    20+ Assist game..... Check
    40+ point Game...... Check
    Triple Double ......... Check

Only People on Houston to Have a 40 Point Game are Yao and Tracy

Brooks can't even get over 5 assists

And T-Mac is the only person on our team that can get a triple double.... So Yeah Sign me up. Get Sessions. Ditch Lowry for a position we need and Bench Aaron as a spark plug off the bench. He'll work better that way. Sessions is going to be a all star in this league.... I mean He got a 24 assist game on the bucks......I mean that's a MVP award in itself.

    Current Lineup

    Brooks/Lowry
    Taylor/Budinger
    Ariza/Battier
    Scola/Landry
    Anderson/Hayes/Dorsey

I hope they can add a Marquis Daniels and/or Ramon Sessions....I have a feeling Morey isn't quite done yet making moves, b/c he is tryin to structure the team to win with or without Yao

Moon plays SF and we already have Battier and Ariza. You only sign him if you move Battier. As for Odom, I wouldnt mind if we signed him, but from a Rockets perspective, he doesnt make sense for what this team is doing. You sign him if you're a contending team or a team who is one piece away from the championship. Not to mention, he wont sign for the MLE. But even that is soon to be gone.

I truely believe that the blowup hurt Von, it cost him some serious cash. Losing your composure on your coach in the playoffs is a huge no no, especially as a role player.

Sign Ramon Sessions. Start him and have Brooks come off the bench. Trade Lowry

Moon can probably play SG/SF. If he can be had for min, id rather take him over wafer.

As for odom, says there he can be had for 6m - 8m? if he'd sign for 6m, id throw the entire mle at him and try to clear space later on for andersen and the rookies. 6'11, great rebounder, good passer, can run the break and with handles. seems to me that would fit the rockets perfectly. since scola plays C sometimes, id put odom at PF.

i think we can look at guys like chris wilcox, and johan petro, nesterovic for the center position. daniels or defino would look good playing shooting guard for us. if they're willing to settle for 2-3 million

If Jennings unintenionally leaked Milwaukee's plans on Youtube then they do not plan on keeping Sessions.

    Lowry + Cook → Sessions (S&T)

    or

    Landry + Dorsey + White → Sessions (S&T)

Agreed. And with Adelman hinting that it wasn't the first time, GMs had to have taken notice. Kind of feel bad for Von, but he dug his own grave. Let's hope he's now able to pull himself out.

Unless we get crafty, I don't see how we can get Sessions. Anderson is gonna eat up part of the MLE and our draft picks the rest. Unless we use the LLE, how does that work?

It doesn't matter if Von's value was hurt after that incident with Adelman - there is no way he is not on that list. The writer just missed him.

Oh, and I'd be stoked if we'd sign Sessions.

    Hard to get Sessions imo.
Bucks shipped out Jefferson & waived Bird rights of Villanueva in order to keep Sessions.
Yeah I think they'll match our offer whatsoever.
