I guess I missed the part where this was confirmed as speculation.

Maybe I misunderstood. If so, my apologies to Matt. I thought the re-cappers who listened to 610 confirmed that he said he was just speculating. If not, if this was based on any info at all other than his own bright idea, totally my bad.

You didn't misunderstand. Matt said it on-air and he seemed amused by it.

Only the Rockets could trade Pryzbilla and Jefferson for 2 players that wound up dead. If this isn't a curse I don't know what is.

I wasn't being sarcastic, I actually didn't read that part. Sorry if I came off that way.

Matt's about as much of an insider when it comes to the Rockets as the old lady who scans your ticket at TC.

Maybe the Rockets called Mattj and told him to shut the hell up.

Or maybe the Rockets used Mattj to post the thread and gauge our reactions.

So either he was actually speculating, as he claimed on air, or saying he was speculating is his way of backpedaling.

Not that Pryzbilla alone is worth much (most of us wanted to add "we better get Fernandez, too!"), but it's very possible we've lost out on players because of what gets leaked to the Internet (Brandon Roy being an example).

If Mattj really was speculating, he should have his nuts roasted---at least singed---for forcing us to listen to Rich Lord.

Either way you are giving the Rockets WAY WAY WAY too much credit. Trust me, no team is that deliberate.

Honestly, none of us are too upset about the thread. It was being coerced into listening to Rich Lord that made this such a grievous offense.

Yes I remember you, weren't you the one flopping all over Yao during the playoffs like a fish out of water. Joel I know its hard to be a man with that kind of name but how bout you actually stand your ground instead of falling back like a pansy.

I love the Rockets with a passion, but to those of you that keep calling Pryzbilla a flopper, wake up a little.

At this point in the league I would have to dub Battier as the biggest flopper. He just makes it look prettier but don't think for a second that the Rockets are innocent from the Jerry Sloan style of basketball.

    Glass houses, stones, etc etc...
