How many games (regular season) do you project the Houston team to win next season?

48-34 will be our record with the 8th seed and play Ron Artest and the LA Lakers in the first round

I would hope not very many since we're no longer a championship team. I'd much rather lose 50 and get a high lottery pick than win 50 and get knocked out of the first round.

i'll let you know when the opening day roster is set. until then you're betting on how a cake would taste before you know the ingredients.

    Too early to tell...

I'll say around 40, give or take a few.

good call raven. once again, we're in agreement.

i wouldn't call it tanking, i would call it letting the young players develop. winning isn't important as improving our young talent, and acquiring picks / cap space.

Depends who we get in the offseason and so far it's not looking good... 35 games at best as of this moment.

Look a what we have to deal with in the West now. Our enemies are getting stronger and we're still running around like headless chickens trying to sign someone. :(

We'll see. The free agency is in full swing... Gotta wait and see. Just pray for Morey and his skills to make something happen and of course for Yao to get better.

We basically have no center and some unproven players that will compete for the starting SG spot.

41-45 wins at best. I'd say 35ish wins. We are so screwed.

The way things are going we should see an "Any wins?" poll within a day or two.

watch guys...every off season we're SO pumped going into the next season. this is the FIRST off-season where it seems nobody will be content. watch tmac come back early, we stay afloat .500, yao comes back after all-star break, and a guy like oberto holds down the C spot.

brooks, tmac, battier, scola, yao...the team we shoulda had when we faced the jazz the 2nd time. we woulda f*king advanced if we had just rafer in that series (2-1) with him, then get yao..

so, watch, it's our year...story will be how it looks like the team dismantled, and all of a sudden..we're the champs holding up the trophy.

    ah, who am i kidding..

Lots of other teams have already acquired top ingredients and are damn near finished baking their cake. Meanwhile, the Rockets kitchen is on fire.
