What does his color have to do with anything? I wish people around here would leave someone's race out of the equation when discussing them, regardless of who that person is or what that race might happen to be.

You also gotta feel for the guy, he and Hill had three different coaches in three years. That's hard to play under, let alone succeed. A lot of people around campus hated Chase for leaving, but I don't blame the guy. Hell, if he came out last year he probably would have gone in the first round.

This is a joke right? A sarcastic joke I'm not getting, right? You can't possibly believe Morey would "troll" this board to see what players he should get, making decisions that involve millions of dollars and the future of the franchise on the whims of armchair GMs that wouldn't know how the salary cap works if they had a year to study it.

If he Bulks up, he can be a rich man's JJ redick.

I say Rich Man because he is at least 3 to 4 inches taller than Reddick and is a much better rebounder.

If he's Bustinger at least he's only a second round pick they can cut before the season. A good gamble for someone that was projected so high in the past.

Budinger is considered to be Steve Kerr's godson.....

I feel Morey was being sneaky with that last pickup. He'll try to trade him in the package for Amare and try to keep Brooks. How is Kerr going to turn down trading for his godson? :D

i've read the whole thread and not ONE person addressed why budinger fell so low in the draft...so again, why did he?! i thought for sure he'd be gone before the end of the first round at the latest.

I highly doubt Kerr even liked the deal we offered....adding his grandson Budinger wont change whether he gives the Rockets Amare

Budinger is not very aggressive and hasn't learned to play defense well....

    Chase Budinger -- ESPN.com

    Positives:

    Super-explosive swingman
    Deep 3-point range
Scorer's mentality, always looking for his shot
Solid rebounder for a guard because of his leaping ability.

    Negatives:

    Ballhandling needs work
Doesn't possess much of an in-between game
Needs to continue to add strength
Doesn't use his athleticism in games
    Will he play defense?
    Laid-back, lacks leadership

Apparently the more scouts saw him the more they thought he is going to be a "soft" player in the NBA. Other than that he tested out really well in the combine, except for the arm length and wingspan, which definitely hurt him.

I admit he can be a little timid but that's just his nature. But he's willing to go up for loose rebounds and plays hard. Its gotta be the curls and goatee.

Morey raped the second round just like the New England patriots did this year, and you all know how they fare..
